It was 20 years ago when I was going through a tough period, because I was in serious need of extra income. I wanted to work without ever leaving my home, since I had to take care of my kids and parents. At the same time, I needed to find an occupation that wouldn't require any start up capital.
One day when I was watching TV, I suddently came up with the solution while noticing the main actress at my favorite sitcom: she was cooking food at home, and selling it to other people. This idea was tailor-made for me, so I started off with tons of enthusiasm, without needing to spend a single penny, apart from cooking ingredients, since I already had all the necessary equipment: dishes, casseroles, kitchen utensils.
My first "cooking for others" attempt would cater for few customers only. However, within 6 months I found myself prepering and catering for large parties of 180-200 participants. My recipes were a big hit: whatever dish I prepared was a great success. My home business really took off, beyond my wildest dreams.
So, don't put off your own dreams: all it takes is a "crazy idea", talent, and a lot of commitment.
Go make it happen for you too!
