Maria holds a first degree in English Language, and an M.A. and a Ph.D in English literature. She is a qualified teacher of the English & Greek languages, with more that 25 years of teaching experience. She pays great attention to detail, is an excellent teacher, and loves to convey her hard-earned knowledge and expertise to her guests and students. She is also an arts connoisseur, having organized a number of greek art festivals in London.
Here's how the course is structured and what you'll learn
The course will cover the following real life situations: greek alphabet, greetings, socializing & entertainment, eating-out & moving about, shopping & making bookings. The guests will learn the greek alphabet, key situation-based phrases, and lots of vocabulary. They will also go through language consolidation and role-playing sessions, and receive comprehensive written course material.
The guests will get a concise and thorough overview of modern greek history from 1974 til today, and an in-depth understanding of modern greek customs & traditions, contemporary greek life, culture and art.
